This is an excellent family owned mod shop. I've been working on a build with Steve the owner for my 2015 Sahara. He doesn't just want your money, he wants you get the best build for what you're looking to do with your Jeep, and he'll consult with you before you choose your parts. I won't go anywhere else because I don't have to worry about the work I get, it's all top notch.
Steve Sarah Gilbert, have been so awesome to me. They modified my jeep to exactly what I was asking...going above and beyond in every service they provided. They spent extra time going over options and have followed up with me to ensure everything is going well. They saw I needed to trim my rail after the lift and new tires, and have offered to do it for me. They are Amazing. Thanks so much!!!!
Awesome Colorado business, family owned and operated. Extremely knowledgeable staff and very polite and professional. Highly recommended! October 2015 - Thank you Steve & Sarah Gilbert and Built 4 Fun 4X4 for your awesome quick work in replacing my axle shafts! The do great work and are a local owned and operated business.Sean Smith
Great family owned business. They completely built my 2008 Jeep Wrangler and I couldn't be happier. They stand behind their work and their prices are unbeatable. Check them out, it will be worth your time I promise.Dustin Davis
Steve performed a 3 1/2" lift on my 2014 Jeep Rubicon, and did a great job. In addition, Steve's knowledge of years off-roading that he shared with me, helped me to make the correct mods for my particular Jeep. Steve worked on my Jeep like it was his own. He is meticulous and hardworking and doesn't finish until it is done right. I worked with Steve for several weeks before the actual work was done so the mod job was well planned out and I knew exactly what I would be paying. There were no surprises, except maybe for how far above and beyond he goes in doing a great job. I wouldn't consider taking my Jeep to anyone else.
Huge thank you to Steve for my CB install this past weekend. He did such an awesome job. The time he took to make sure it was a clean install was incredible. I can not WAIT until I get my lift!!!! Built4Fun4X4 Rocks!!Lynda Speck
I absolutely agree! Steve is honest and a very good mechanic. Great work at a very fair price. Can't wait to bring in my laundry list of mods that I want to make!Steve Ash
Steve and Sarah are not only great friends but the run an honest and trustworthy business! Steve is very knowledgeable in all things JEEP. He is very meticulous with his work and is not satisfied until its done right! Thanks for all your hard work on Colt's Jeeps. We'd be lost without you!Camden & Colt Mollohan
I brought my 2001 TJ into the shop after needing a place to fix my TJ after an unfortunate incident with a tree.... When the insurance said it was totaled, Steve said it was a good start. Now the Jeep's riding higher, safer and smoother than ever before. We moved here from Chicago in May, new to trails and taking our 15 year old asphalt trapped TJ out was new to us. When we decided to save her, I needed help knowing what to do and with what. I'm a computer engineer, Steve broke it down for the geek. I couldn't be happier with the work, guidance, and just straight up care that these folks have for their customers.JD & Jennifer Marshall
Lifetime Jeeper, now a lifetime customer.
This is a great place for your Jeep modification. It is a small owned family shop by Steve and Sarah. They truly believe in quality parts and a quality job. My TJ is now a TK, with a 5" wider wheelbase due to axle swap from TJ to JK with Tru Trac Front and Rear, New springs and shocks and new 35" Tires. This thing is a beast now. Steve has over 20 years as a mechanic and will personally work on your Jeep. Give these guys a call you will not be disappointed.Matt Childres
